It is a little late for tomatoes and peppers from seed, but you can still buy plants form tesco, b&Q (bogof on plants today) etc. and they should be ok, but would be best ina greenhouse.
Strawberies should alsobe ok from plants.
Seed wise, then go with sow and grow lettuces etc, spring onions and th elike.
talking of seeds, i dont know if this has been mentioned yet, but yesterday in tesco i got some of the suttons seeds propagators, there were 2 types, one has 3 different types of tomato seeds, and the other has peppers and courgettes,they were reduced from £4.99 to £1.24 the seeds alone have a total price of £6 and there is a small bag of compost too. the seeds have an expiry date of 2014 so as its a little to late to sow them this year, you can save them untill next year,i also got a few pots of suttons seeds grow your own herbs these were 24p each, great for the kids to watch them grow0 -

8x flora buttery =£15.50
5x vouchers £1 off £3 spend on any flora spread
To pay= £10.50
JTD= £7.60
Makes actual spend just £2.90
Each tub is therefore= 36p
What do you think?
Will the flora buttery compare?
It all depends whether you get a lenient check out operative I suppose!
Total spend
I bought 8 Flora buttery yesterday and used 5 price flops with no problem, will let you know if they compare ok when price checks come inHandle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.0 -
