Morning all. Is a lovely day....birds cheeping away merrily too. Hugs and best wishes to those that need them.
Plans for today....need to pick up a prescription, get my girl from school, and take her to her swimming classes.
Also need to decide whether to buy and pick up this 'rocker' thingy from argos or not. I have one reserved....but am in two minds (probably the hormonal pregnant one, and the normal one). Any thoughts?

Personally id go for a vibrating or swinging one. i had a vibrating and i swore by it.
got my friend one from T a few months back for Free as someone left the half price sticker on  think it was around £25 on offer0 -
My only substitution was magnolia coloured toilet paper instead of white. I felt it was too princess-y to say it doesn't match my decor, so I accepted it. But it really only matches in one bathroom.
I tend to buy heavy and bulky value items when I do my online shopping.
A lot of the time, my value items get substituted for branded items....some examples include value fish fingers being substituted with birds eye fish fingers and value basmati rice --> tilda basmatic rice!

We don't live near a large Ts that do that sort of thing. So by the time we do get to one they are all gone.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

after 45 mins in the shop
They said I have had too many before.
I phoned head office while in the shop and they said because I went through self scan I should have realised and it was the Managers discression in each store
So I asked for a Full refund which they didn't like coz the items I had bought had now been sitting at CS for 45 +.
So I went back in my car and phone customer servos in Wales I think and told them the story they phoned the store and came back with the same answer
I got home and phone another customer service number and got put through to a helpfull young lad and said that's all wrong how much have you been overcharged,I said £21 he put me on hold for 20 mins came back and said he was issuing me a voucher for £42 BUT he said please Don't go through self service again if you are looking for DTD as head office are leaving it to managers discretion weather or not to give DTD in store..
So I'll wait for my £42 voucher
Fingers crossed
So as FK said " it isn't worth using up your DTD quota just for a bit of chicken or sausage or similar"
I think you just have! it's was prob not the best idea to ring CS 3 times until you got the result you wanted!
you are now well above the radar and will most likely be followed/banned when you go back!!:("He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

I've finally caught up so have a few kind words for people (sorry if i miss anyone out):
Karlie - congrats Dr:j
3 dogs - sending you and Alan the biggest hugs in the world. :grouphug: I really hope that today is a better day for you both.
Frequent and Purdita - happy birthday, hope it's a glorious day for you both to celebrate in style :bdaycake:
Cattysmum - good luck on your eye op later
MMW - wishing you a speedy recovery, I assume you'll be discharged today sometime.
Silvercar - good luck for your recovery from your op too and ((hugs)) to you re: your dad's ill health
Fudge cake - cos you always deserve a mention :A
Phew, all done. Off to plan my shop now. Oh, one last question. Has anyone been through SS with the 8 flora buttery and used the 5 coupons? Doesn't it flag up after any 2 coupons used? Was wondering whether to try it ...:think:Tiger

Can anyone tell me if using the cake coupon on the 2 for £2 cakes (along with a value packet) does it work on the SS tills without calling someone over? or has someone worked out that we have to spend over a certain amount first?
as i remember with the last price flop coupons, if you used the frozen food coupon along with the cake coupon, they went through fine on SS, but if you just used the cake coupon it called someone over?
TIA:)
ps i am a bit behind at the moment (no, very behind) so just wondered if someone can tell me which magazine the Welches coupon is in please?
pps just read about MMW, have we heard from her yet? - thinking of you hun xx0
