Lucky I found this thread at the same time as recovering from my op. I spent two hours last night catching up on things.
3Dogs, I can sympathise with what you are going through, my father had exactly the same diagnosis as Mr 3Dogs 9 months ago. Been on chemo tablets since. I may PM you later, but understand if you don't have the energy for continually talking (or typing) about it. We are now stranded 150 miles apart until I recover enough to drive to Wales.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Sunny day here (Hertfordshire) again today. I have some lovely friends who appear at various times of the day. Clearly on some secret rota that they have worked out between them, as they all come seperately not to tire me and they all bring different things, flowers, chocs, magazines. I'm being spoilt. yesterday one friend arrived for my Tesco delivery time, just so she could put everything away for meI'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. 3dogs I'm sure Mr 3dogs will pick up when he gets home to familiar surroundings everything will seem less effort for him. Its never easy being in someone elses home no matter how nice it is.
If I was being taken to Eldon Sq & I wasn't feeling 100% I would go back to bed too, its a busy hectic place from what I remember
Best wishes to you both I'm not sure how far away from South Shields you are at present but try & get some more sea air into his lungs and of course try & look after yourself because you will be no good to him if you neglect yourself. I'm glad you've been able to visit your Mam0 -

Good morning everyone.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes.
Magic, love my knight of the aisle pooping horse
Happy Birthday Purdita.
Congrats Dr K.
3 Dogs your posts always humble me.
You are an inspiration to us all.
Got a birthday text from a friend who works in the critical unit.
Asked her how she is.
She replied " my health is poor, but when I see patients at work, I cannot grumble as there are alot of people much worse off than me."
Selfless attitude to take even during the bad times.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Hoping my friend Mr T will provide a present for freeBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Anyway I didn't want to be rude and not say thank you to the lovely bunch that have been missing me:A Things are very difficult at home and with life in general and I'm also not doing too great on my new meds so continuing to feel very low
:( My night out 'painting the town red' ended in me coming home in floods of tears and bearly able to walk, in agony with my back and legs
I try very hard to ignore my illnesses. They've been part of me for as long as I can remember so I know no different but there are times where I think I'm stupid for doing so
:( I can't seem to do anything by half
:o:o
I am determined to catch up though, I adore the escapism this thread provides and catching up with everyone's goings on! As I said before, my list is ridiculously long but I refuse to admit defeat and skip a day's posts, hopefully I'll get there tomorrow!
Am up early for bloods (well early for me anyway!:o:o) so will be on here after. Spent the majority of today grooming my doggies so they look beauuuuuutiful now with their summer haircuts. Still a little bit to finish off tomorrow but then I'll have a go at getting them to pose
:rotfl:
Sending my best wishes and hoping that all went well with MMW's op [STRIKE]today[/STRIKE] yesterdayAnd also wishing cattysmum the best of luck for her op in the morning.
Night night Elite :Axxxxxx
P.S No I'm not on my travels with Westie but I am very worried about her and really really hope she's ok :Axxxx
So do I!! If anything happens to her then what's hers becomes mine and I DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT want that dog of hers!!!:rotfl:0 -
