Sometimes my 5 year old really does know how to mess with my overly hormonal head. Picked her up from school...."lost my jumper mummy". Never mind thinks I. Was only 50p from the school second hand rail. And in this weather hardly a drama.
"Lost my glasses mummy". AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. People looking in her classroom, swimming pool, we walked all over the grounds looking. They turn up in her pocket. What question did I ask her at the start? Are they in your pocket. Sometimes ...... ohhhhh sometimes.0 -

Evening elite :hello:
DH has at last stopped his digging, needless to say my rockery is almost demolished
The guys doing the fence should be starting this weekend, all being well
Didn't go to Ts as I tripped on a stone outside and now got a sprained ankle   DH does not drive so T will have to wait for me until tomorrow. Just hope the batteries are still there thenThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Evening all
What a beautiful day.
I started out with the best intentions. Mowed the lawn and did a bit of gardening then got the sunlounger out while I had a cup of tea.....
Fatal ....Woke up an hour and a half later with my face stuck to the lounger where I'd been drooling :rotfl::rotfl:
A couple of questions please.....
I did my first ever womble at Asda last night. It was a receipt for £51 odd and was 2p cheaper than T's....however it said because it wasn't 10% cheaper it gave me a voucher for £2.31:T:T
How do they reach that figure? It doesn't show any prices so is it just on the items they compare with T's (It was nearly all booze and crisps....must have been having a party!!)
Also got a £5 off £40 so quite pleased with my first attempt!!
Second question.
Is the Kosher dept listed on the T's website as such or does it come under world foods?
No mention of kosher within 100 miles of me!!!
Lovely evening so I'm off to sit in the garden with a book and a glass of Magners cider and blackcurrant.....(magners was on offer in T's 20 x 300ml bottles for £11...bargain :beer:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Its butlins we are going to
I think Butlins is really cheap the 2 of us go in a silver room with the premier all you can eat brekkie and eve meal 3 nights 4 days for around £200, then all the fair/entertainment/swimming is free
we have been to Minehead loads and Bognor 3 times so thought we'd try Skeggy
We are also going to Butlins (or Buckalins as my 2 yr old keeps saying). Off in 3 weeks to Bognor and it's my first time going - thought it may be easier than a s/c cottage or going abroad.. Staying in the Shoreline hotel and it looks fun packed for kids. May have to take my ear plugs though :rotfl:Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -

Take the little land train into town £1.20 return, its fun even though its not far to walk it stops right at the end of Butlins0
