or the fact she prefers the opinions of total strangers to her friend. My friend have been there and they stayed in *.fr anyone here have feedback about this hotel?
I for one would trust my friends opinions - although I would rather sleep in my car than one of these places. Prices have probably changed since I lived in France, but 40 Euro isn't that cheap either.balletshoes wrote: »they might ....
Etap were a more "expensive" version of F1 and if memory served me right had attached plastic moulded "rooms". Their used to be lots of different brands for these places, some with, some without, "en-suite".0

Was in one in France a few days ago and yes, but a very high ratio of bathrooms per rooms (In other countries I've used them in (like OZ) no they are en-suite)
You get (as a minimum) two single beds, a basin, a TV, table and chair plus wifi.
Unless you book a long way in advance and get an offer with say Travelodge, which handy chain of hotels in the UK offer you this - for £22!!!!! as a walk in rate.
They're not advertised as a location for a bl**dy romantic weekend just an overnight stop.
If you are a wee wee person (not suggesting you personally) who needs to get up and p*ss several times in the night maybe one of these will help, saves taking your jim jams.

balletshoes wrote: »they might - the blurb for f1 (or now rebadged Ibis budget) in France is that the toilet and shower is "near the room". However, the photo on this link is pretty much the same as the Etap (also now rebadged as Ibis budget) room I had in France, and the toilet/shower was in a little cubicle in the room itself, so it wasn't a shared facility.

yep, you're right, I should have said "being rebadged".
eta - actually, possibly not. I just picked a random destination in France for the Accor group, and the F1 hotels don't show up, but the Etaps do, as future Ibis bugets.0

Don't forget you can take a dog into the room! but as I said they are not ideal for a romantic weekend.

You may want to try this site

We use Logis quite a lot.
By the way, which Chalon are you going to (because there are four or five Chalons in France)?0
