BPO collections - Unknown debt?

I don't think BPO actually care - Like Lowell, the scummers are just out to scam money out of people regardless of any debt or not. :mad:0

Looking at this thread I can see some incorrect advice on limitation periods for court actions.
In Scotland most civil claims expire after 5 years.
In England and Wales they expire after 6 years for most contracts. Contracts which are deeds (most are not) are limited to 12 years. Rent demands are limited to 6 years.
Generally the date is measured not from the start of the contract but from the date the breach occurred (ie. the date when the right to sue arose).
The only references to limitations periods I can see is the council tax thread on page one.
