£19.99 PAYG phone plus bluetooth headset

Hello,
I had been looking for a cheap Pay As You Go phone with bluetooth ever since the fine was increased and 3 Penelty points added for using your phone whilst driving. The cheapest i had found was the "O2 Ice" for £59.99 in O2 stores this included a free bluetooth headset and £10 credit. However my local Curry's superstore has just started selling phones (White City retail park right by Old Trafford football ground), they have a Sagem MY401x for sale at £19.99,:j the phone looks quite cool, and includes a camera (only 0.3 MP though), Video capture, and a bluetooth headset. For that money you are hard pushed just to get a bluetooth headset. So anyone wanting a cheap and chearful phone for use whilst driving i don't think you'll find any cheaper (not when you price in the cost of a headset anyway)

Hope someone finds this useful

Erm and what's the problem with Sagem, my current phone is Sagem and was purchased about 2 years ago, still going strong, the only reason i have changed is because i need the bluetooth option. Reading other posts in this forum i find people complaining about other supposed "respected" phones.I don't expect to have any problems with this one just like i have had no problems with my last one. If you don't like the phone that much you could do worse than to buy it for the headset and give the phone to someone who would appreciate it.

Oh sorry i thought this was a "Moneysaving" Website. I think this phone is a great bargain it looks the part and has enough features to keep me happy. Please don't mock me for saving myself some cash - constructive opinions welcome.

I think for those not interested in brands, i.e. true :money: this is a great buy as it includes a BT headset.

I'm a tight wad when it comes to mobiles and opt for 100% cashback and then sell my phone at the end of 12 months so I actually make a profit. Might be worth you looking into that as you will then get free calls.

sorry Hariboy, SKU is, in this case, curry's product reference number. It´s probably in the receipt and it's useful to have because you can go straight to the counter and ask for it.

Apparently the 401x is identical to the 400x, only with the addition of bluetooth, and it's tri-band rather than dual-band ;)
