Diceydeb hugs to you. My Dad died 32 years ago in November and i still miss him.

Sistercas my son has gone into school for his last day today too. Apparently he will be coming home after the leavers assembly. Ive told him to take plenty of pictures and i cant wait to see the state he comes home in. My other kids came home on their last day floured and egged so I am expecting much the same. I hope he protects his blazer though.

Dont know what i am going to do with the rest of my day. Its beautiful outside so i might take the dogs for a walk and stop off at the garden centre on the way. I am looking round for a Buzy Lizzie for the office.

Just had a little cry - we got a sympathy card from the vet this morning, which I thought was a really nice thing for them to do.

What a lovely thoughtful thing to do. Makes you feel less of a number with things like that xx

Sistercas - loved the photo of your banana babe!

Butterfly mind - losing a pet is dreadful. You are losing a loyal friend who you have shared your life with for so many years. I hope you feel better soon.

diceydeb and JackieO - it is so lovely to have those memories, and to pass them on. I know stories about family members who died twenty years before I was born, it gives a wonderful feeling of security.

Beeferoni for tea tonight, with fish fingers as a fall back for little bear. And obviously rice instead of pasta for darling father.

Bought 72 wash box of Fairy for £10 at Mr S. Seriously considering going back and getting another one. At 14p per wash (if I've worked it out right), it is really good value. Of course, you have to add the cost of the glug of white vinegar as fabric conditioner and allow for me never using the full recommended dose of powder. I am trying to cut back on my hoarding, and lugging it back was strenuous work, but I am so tempted.

I'm shattered! Walked the dogs legs off and went to one of my favourite garden centres. I could seriously spend a fortune in those places.

Glutten for punishment. Ive mowed the back lawn, and will mow the front lawn later when MrJudi comes home (as i cant lift the lawnmower up the steps).

Son phoned me, he is on his way back from school. 'Mum' he said 'i dont think you can salvage my clothes'.

Cant wait to see the mess. still, he cant look any worse than my other son did when he left school.

Need to vacuum downstairs again as i brushed the dogs and theres hair everywhere!
