    Morning all

Sunny so far down this end....supposed to have a few showers at some point tough...just for a change!

Went charity shop hunting yesterday, got a good haul so will be popping into some different ones today to see what's about. Need to go to A*di too and do the shop, I've only just switched over to doing the full shop there as Mr As rollback price deals were driving me scatty...things could go up by upto a pound the week before they "rolled" it back. Can't be doing with such silliness.

Started doing some major works to the garden, dug up a patio, laid some turf and now digging up old concrete and flower beds to pave and make it nice and level for DH (he has mobility issues)...... But as I've managed to inflame the tendon in my elbow I think I might have to give that a miss today.

My parents are coming tomorrow for a visit and Dad is bringing his big saw so he can whizz through the rest of the pallets I need chopping, Im going to make him a batch of chilli later as a thank you (mum won't eat "foreign" foods so I make dad a batch of chilli now and then and pop it into take away boxes for them to freeze down).

WM has been on twice, just need to pop it out on the line when I'm dressed....not sure my neighbours would appreciate my jimjams and bed hair.

Soaked some mixed beans over night so need to cook those up too, I'll freeze them down in portions to add to soups/chilli/stews etc. Fancy making some cakes too so will see what ingredients I've got in.

Hope everyone has a lovely Friday!

A bit grey and gloomy here, I don't think I would get any washing dry on the line today, it was a good job that I got it all done yesterday .
DH has a dentist appointment today , DD is at college and DS has promised that he will do some weeding today.
I have seedlings all over the utility room, I don't want to put them out just yet because the weather is so fickle.
Camelot......... Avenue Q is Sesame street for adults and I have heard that it is very good.
I need to go to the local GG to pick up some potatoes, fruit and eggs and then I am going to make some bread this afternoon.

    Morning everyone :)

My plans to get out of the house this morning were scuppered by my mum wanting me to puppy sit. Feeling a bit of cabin fever.....I don't actually go anywhere other than food shopping or errands for dog or kids.......I am b*ggering off clothes shopping tomorrow come hell or high water. I love Luna but as a puppy she is a massive tie and I am currently feeling like I don't do anything other than cleaning, washing and cooking. I need to do a few more things for me that doesn't involve being on MSE forums or FB :o:o

Anyway waffle over, this aft I shall treat myself to a mooch in Hobbycraft I think :) no money to buy so I will alternate between drooling in envy and recoiling in horror at the prices :rotfl:

Tea is bacon and broccoli pasta.
Need to get through a mountain of washing, how does this stuff breed overnight? Looking dry at the moment so on the line it will go :D

Adelight - hugs darling, hope your Gran has a good send off, thinking of you all xxxx

Hugs and spoons all round xx

    Me again.

Adelight - hope your gran has a nice send off xx

Just had my first gas/electric bill for this house (quarterly bills), and I am £48 in credit :j so pleased I don't owe any extra. Hoping they may reduce the DD a bit too but will wait til next quarter before requesting this so I can build up a bit of credit.

Decided I'm going to have sorting out day today. Need to change address so will go through all paperwork including uni files and get a pile of stuff for shredding or sorting. Plus want to make my house feel a bit more homely so have a few bits I can put up/display which are still in boxes.

I was going to make a big vat of chilli but realised that all my tupperware boxes are currently in use  :rotfl:at least that means I won't starve anytime soon! I have however taken a portion of chilli out of freezer, along with one curry, one rice (2portions) and some HM flapjacks. I may invest in some more cheap tupperware boxes next week from Home Bargains.

    Hi.

You all seem to be busy or gainfully employed at any rate. We're off in a while to see an employment solicitor on the mainland so that the Rev can ascertain what rights she has. Actually, Bully Boy has done her the most amazing favour. Now people have found out what has been going on there is this amazing wave of support that seems to get bigger and stronger every day. I think it is a case of the biter bit.

I did manage to make a little dent in Ironing Mountain yesterday and intend to do a bit more today when we get home. What and when we will be eating today is still a mystery, but I guess we won't perish through lack of food.

All of you workers - have a lovely weekend. All of you retirees - carry on working.

    Love x
