Still failing to see where I have used anybody else's money, yes I suppose my parents funded me up to 15 when I got my first job, been unemployed for less than 1 week since then.

Please will somebody explain at which point in my life I have spent somebody elses money I really do want to know as I really can't figure it myself. Once you tell me which aprt of my life is under question I will be happy to prove otherwise.

Until then I would be happy if people didn't post things about me which aren't true.

you continually complain about people profiting out of other people
ie using peoples rent money to buy a house with
but you have a mortgage using peoples savings to fund your life choice i think some people may see your argument as a little bit allright for me Jack

If you fully believe in the statments you make about BTL then surely you should apply the same ideas to your own life ,you have an excess of money coming into your house ,i think you quoted £1000 or similar a month why not give up a job to allow someone else a job
why 3 bedrooms have you got kids or relatives living with you get a smaller house to allow someone else your house '
why a big garden do you have a horse or grow your own food surely you should give this to someone who needs the land .
the list goes on and on
just accept that we buy BTL'S you take pics of kids (which our local school has now lifted the ban on parents taking their own videos)
    good luck

I don't see a problem with people thinking a certain business is morally wrong. I don't like the Tobacco industry and I've refused lucrative contracts to work for them in the past. However, I don't understand the need to demonise people who work in those industries/businesses nor to try and force my opinions and viewpoints on other people.

I think profiting from Tobacco is morally wrong, so I choose not to do it. End of story. If someone thinks profiting from BTL is wrong then they should choose not to do it. End of story. I don't understand the outpouring of vitriol unless it's because deep down they want to profit by it but can't and the inner turmoil is causing the emnity to those who can profit by it?

Interesting, so I have surplus income, this is to fund a few things in life. Firstly we do more than work and eat so a chunk goes to that. Plus we do plan children which aren't cheap I believe.

As for 3 bedrooms, see above.

As for big garden yet again see above, as it is we do plan to grow a few things and I am now a bee keeper which my better half doesn't like. :rotfl:

Confused why I should give up my job, I work 37 hours in the day job and a few hours here and there video editing and such like (probably around 60 hours a year), as it is I could give up my business tomorrow and have no problems, yes it adds a little income but nothing massive. With schools we only ask no flash photography we know a few film bits themselves but they still end up buying the dvd as its better than what they get themselves.

Which part are questioning the morals of?

Sorry to ruin your argument again, I may be undercutting other businesses, but those other businesses charged to much to which my customers couldn't afford them, in all cases I have started doing something which wasn't done before I haven't lost other people business, just found a gap and occupied it. Some would say that is excellent business sense.

Sorry I can see where there could be confusion there, I mean other businesses where too expensive to which I am not, I have not stole business form anybody just filled a gap.

As for my employer, they turn away people who can't afford the services they offer.

Exactly, just like a rental property. The landlord isn't taking business away, he's offering a service which renters choose to take or not at market rates.
