Vodafone tariff dispute

My partner got a phone on contract from vodafone around 3 months ago. He was told it would be unlimited internet only to find it was 1gb for 3 months. so he complained and got his phone and contract swapped over to another one. He was happy with this until a minor bill dispute came up and he rang and spoke to someone who actually explained everything to him only to find out that he wasto also pay an extra 16 a month for line rental which he was never told about, bringing his bill up from 25 to 41 per month. He rang again and asked to cancel his contract and they said they can't do anything until they fully investigate the matter and listen to recordings (they said they could,ve been deleted, another legal matter??) which may take up to 8 months. I am wondering if this is allowed and does he have the right to cancel his contract or at the very least suspend it until they do their "investigation?" Please help! Thanks

There would have been a piece of paper detailing the contract taken out send, what did that say?

Similarly when the contrtact changed what did the new details say?

    Hi cathy55656,

I can certainly appreciate why your partner would be frustrated with this.

I will be more than happy to help resolve the issue and I can assure you that it won't take eight weeks to look into.

They can contact me directly via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject. If they also include a link to your post and a contact number, I will get in touch.

    Many thanks,

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
