Wonga took 2 payments-refund help!

Hi this is my first ever post but hoping you can help me, i took out a wonga loan a few months ago, i later arranged a payment plan with them as my circumsances had changed. my repayment plan was for £200 in the first month and £19 every month after. iv just discovered today that when they took the £200 they took it out twice on the same day. I have rang them and they told me they would pass to the finance department and refund me within 24 hours. i have been ringing them all day to be told my refund hasnt been approved yet, and in my latest call was told that the finance department had gone home as it was after 5pm. So its probably fair to say im not going to get it back in 24hrs. I need my refund by saterday morning, as due to them taking an extra £200 i have incourred fines for other debts that could not be paid, and i have no money to get to work. I have read a few threads and have been told that wonga like to drag out refunds.
Is there anyway i can speed this process up?
Can my bank refund me quicker, and if so how?
What are my chances of getting my refund by saterday morning?
My bank have confermed that they have taken the payment twice and i also still have a copy of the email outlining the re-payment plan from wonga stating they were only ment to take £200 if this helps.
Thanks for any help...sorry for the long post..Reallly need help..only 19...so stressed.
Ps. Please dont tell me im stupid for taking the loan out in the first place as, i had my finances completly sorted until they desided to basically seal £200 from me.

You can ask the bank to return the money under the direct debit guarantee, but it may not be done immediately.
You really do need to avoid payday loans. You were not "sorted", you were in a repayment plan.0 -

yes, but re-payment plan was part of me sorting my finances. Got into a mess when i lost my job, payday loan was my last option, but have been trying to sort it all out since then, got a new job and paid off pretty much all of my debt, wonga and one other small repayment was all i had left until i am clear.
How long does the bank take do you know?0 -

They have not stolen anything from you - you are in breach of contract, the money is theirs.
*If* the bank agree to reimburse you it could be anything from an immediate reversal to several weeks. You would need to call them and explain.0 -

This is not true, i am not in breach of my contract, when wonga agreed to a repayment plan (way before my repayment date) they either added new conditions to the origional contract or entered into a new contract with myself, they have breached the contract by taking an un-authorised payment, contrary to the new agreement. The money is not theres as two payments of £200 when only one should have been taken exceeds what i owed them in total anyway.0 -
What do the bank need to refund?0

You have a very strange attitude to debt.0

You have a very strange attitude to debt.
So do Wonga.
She's just asking for advice, if you haven't got any then judgemental remarks are not really a helpful alternative.
I owe my mortgage lender tens of thousands, I'd still be pretty irked if they took double the agreed payment one month.0 -

How? Im in a tight spot- I get a loan.
Something happens so i cant pay it back straight away- I dont try and dodge it or cancel my card or all the things other people do, i ring them before my repayment date and arrange a plan that suits me and the company.
They go against the new agreement and take £400 instead of £200 on an agreed date- So i try and find the best way to resolve it.
Where in there am i strange?0 -
