Hi
I know this thread is from May, I just didn't know if it was worthy of starting a new one.
Does anyone know if the noddle site is still working? I've been trying to access it but the web browser says there is an issue and it's not working. I can't find any info on it to say it's been closed.
I also tried to register and pay the £2 for a credit report on their callcredit.co.uk and that site just jumps you to another new site that then tries to charge you £12. Not sure what's going on really.
Thanks0 -
Well the callcredit site won't take my payment and noddle after 2 failed attempts (correct login details) locked my account. Still waiting after 3 days for them to sort it and when I tried the 'forgotten password' link no email was ever received.0

Noddle.co.uk 's still working (well, it works for me right now, anyway).
If you want to pay callcredit for the £2 statutory report, you can do so here: http://www.callcredit.co.uk/stat-report-online/
But I'm not sure why you'd want to, since the £2 report won't display anything that you can't see on noddle.0 -
Thank you both. I cannot access noddle. I don't know why. I tried getting a CC and paying the £2 but the site callcredit site didn't take my payment, and then oddly jumped me over with all my details into a pre filled form to this site callcreditcheck.
Which I only just realised as I was about to push the submit button wanted to charge £12. Nothing about charges on the front page of the website either. So I'm not sure what was going on really. I just gave up. The noddle site doesn't even come up in any of the browsers I've used. I've just written to make sure they haven't taken £12 rather than the £2 they say didn't go through.0 -

DB, with fear of going off-topic, do you get any errors when you launch the page? Do you have issues navigating to many pages?
A DNS lookup returns noddle.co.uk at 213.52.144.95 currently. Try entering this in the address bar - this will rule out a DNS problem on your PC and should take you straight to the site. This address will change though so probably no point in book-marking it.
Also, if you are having more browser-based issues, you could try a different browser such as Firefox Portable (http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable). This needs no install and doesn't leave a footprint. You can use it to test the site at least.

Hmmm Noddle now seems to be offering a new product called 'Noddle Improve' - you have to log into your account to see whats its all about. £20 for one year to see your score (by the illustrations they give you xxx score) - not bad I suppose.
It must be a more in-depth analysis of why you have xxx score compared to their current x/5 indicator. And this is the CallCredit score not Noddle.
PS when i say xxx score I mean they give you a 3 digit score like on Equifax and Experian! i.e. 949
Plus it didn't take Noddle long to start introducing a paid product to see your true score given that the service to see your report is free.
Wonder what next? £20 a year for an alert service?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
£20 per year (£1.70 per month) for Noddle is much better than £15 per month from Experian or £9 per month from Equifax.
You can still have the free credit report and but if you want a more in depth view of your rating and track it month to month it's really not much to pay. If they start offering an alerts service for a similar price I would definitely consider it.0 -

They're not really providing more depth with the £20/year package though. All the information that CallCredit have about you is displayed on the free noodle site (if it doesn't display much, this is either due to a lender not reporting, or CallCredit failing to link it all up to the same person), and also updated monthly.
An arbitrarily calculated score (by either callcredit, experian or equifax!) isn't particularly useful, and perpetuates the myth of a universal credit score, causing confusion when people get rejected despite having a 'high' score. One then just has to keep paying creditors on time to ensure the green ticks keep coming.
I would agree that the price they were charging is infinitely more reasonably than experian/equifax, and would be a perfectly reasonably price for the service if they weren't providing the reports for free already - it's cheaper than 12*£2 statutory reports, for instance.0
