I went on a forest walk with the school yesterday, perhaps I shouldn't wash the mud off my trainers, just sell them and buy a new pair.

pmsl at this thread, this is where i've been going wrong all my life. why have i been throwing my minging old shoes/clothes/tights etc in the bin?

are there any cases of women buying mens smelly old shoes etc. or just the other way round?

they're all out there on ebay aren't they? ad-mag used to be the best perv-magnet though.
    love it.
  • Stll don't understand the " well travelled air hostes/cabin crew " reference though !

And what exactly does "cleaned to ebay standards " mean?

Well, I am guessing that it means they have been well worn by a pair of very sweaty feet - ladies feet - and there is obviously people who want this criteria in shoes. Bizarre but you get all sorts.

Cleaned to eBay standards means they are making sure that they are saying all they have to. You need to send them freshly washed and laundered, or for shoes, in a presentable condition, they are making sure their listings are kept on the right side of the eBay police but I guess the buyer would say please don't clean them.

This has been the funniest thread I have read in a very long time. needless to day I nothing done last night while reading this thread but it was well woth it!! See, I came back to see if here was more!!
  • Thanks blue-monkey, to be honest I thought maybe the references to abroad and well travelled may have had a reference to drugs!!!!

Can't be too careful these days can you?
  • Forgot to say that in future my till receipts will reflect much less spent on washing powder and conditioner etc. LOL

Will have to learn to master the art of smileys

  • AHHHH FloFlo, you mean women have more business sense?

Will shortly post a pic of the inoffensive Penguin slippers which prompted this thread.

Have only ever made one purchase on ebay ( successful, nice person to deal with ) but the more I read on here I feel the " bomb sites " of ebay purchasing may be more than an old lady can deal with.
  • Sorry, can't add photograph, need to be a bit more pc savvy.
