I've done the same, got rid of about 3 or 4 pairs of my old shoes, One guy emailed me and asked which ones smelled the most, he then bought them.
I've done ok out of it, but its not something I can do often as the shoes mostly bought are womens stilletto heel shoes, and I'm awful at walking in them to umm.. freshen them up :rotfl:

None of my listings ever got pulled, I always put in the description that they would be cleaned to ebays rules prior to dispatch, I always make them a private listing with *Trashed* or Well Worn* in the header.

Made me a few quid anyway on shoes I would have otherwise thrown out, and if it wasn't for this thread I would never had known about this market !

I really didn't know there was a market for this kind of stuff,(very sheltered upbringing)
I have thrown away loads of pairs of shoes that weren't even as bad as some of the ones on ebay - I will definately think again before chucking anymore away.

no listings pulled! i made the listings private and put in the blurb about how the photos were for display purposes only/shoes would be cleaned etc etc before sending. As you long as you keep within Ebay rules and regs you are cool! Also, put my email at the bottom of listing (set up a g00gle mail account to keep it separate away from my real ebay contact details ) - and any extra photos that were sold were sold that way! Flipper - I just said if they had any extra questions they could get in touch with me directly that way.
Madscouser - can assure you that i have the ugliest known feet known to man! lol my ex called them "hobbit hoofs" (there's the reason he is an ex !!!) and people were not put off by it! hehehehe
I've got a stash in my wardrobe that are going to be listed after the summer - i'm taking an Ebay holiday just now

wench - my stilletos didnt sell as well as my ballet pumps! i had tons of those £4 cheapies from primark that wear thru sooooo quickly, and they sold for around the £20 mark!! woohoo!
had a money making plan, but have never got round to it.... thought about hitting the charidee shops for the 2nd hand shoes.....they are sold for around £3? so that sounds like an easy profit me thinks! lol

I always wear Primark cheap flats anyway. What sorta condition do the overall shoes need to be in? Just asking because mine have kinda split on the one shoe, on the front, the black sole has slightly come away from the front if you get what I mean? Would they be ignored on ebay?
