Orange mobile - what sequence of events
Apologies if this ios covered elsewhere but I couldn't find the answer:
For several years I've paid mobile phone contract for my son (now age 20) - I now want him to take it over in his name. He wants to stay on Orange (magic numbers to call GF) and doesn't want an updated handset but wants lowest monthly cost. The current contract expires in July and ideally we would switch to SIM only plan of ~400 minutes / free texts / moderate data.
Would it be better for me to wait til contract expiry then switch to SIM contract then after (eg) 1 month transfer to him or switch to him now then let him set up revised contract in July (he is a student so won't have good credit rating)
Hope someone can help

You should transfer to sim only at the end of the minimum term and then try to transfer the acc to him.
Bear in mind, he'll have to pass their credit check before they'll transfer the acc.0 -
