Just a quick note - everybody should check and double check their selections in areas of interest - last Monday I was surprised not to get any CT's and when I looked at my account settings discovered they were all unselected. I selected them all again, only to find them all deselected again today!
Reselected this afternoon, just checked again and guess what? All unticked! I'll have to check again first thing, don't want to lose out two weeks in a row!
Just checked mine, and they were all unselected!!! Have re selected them all now, so def a good idea to do a regular check.0 -

Does it say anything in your account if you win a comp? Its got my name on one of the comps as winning, but not my exact town, but the big one very near?~*Cerenia*~

To be perfectly honest before today i thought clearing my cookies constituted tidying up after a baking activity:D
If you mean not sure how clearing cookies helps with Pigsback tracking, this is how it works (I think!).
When you visit a website, it leaves a small piece of information on your computer about your visit, stored as a text file. For example, my cookie for the Pigsback site looks like this:

So when I go back to Pigsback, their website looks in my Cookies folder to see if I've already visited the site, and when it finds its cookie, it can read my membership information and log me in automatically.
If you've been doing, say, your weekly Tesco shop by visiting the site directly and then switch to going through Pigsback for the points, the Tesco site will read your cookie for log-in information and, in the process, 'loses' the information that you were referred by Pigsback, hence the reason some people aren't getting their points. If you delete the cookie before you click through to Tesco, it'll think you've not been there before and keep the referral info.
You should be able to just delete the individual site cookie before you visit, which will keep all your other automatic log-ins intact. If you're using XP, they're in My Computer -> Local Disk C: -> Documents and Settings -> [folder with your name on] -> Cookies. Each cookie will usually start with your name, then an @ and then the site name.
Not all cookies work this way, some will keep the referral info even if you already have a cookie, but people seem to be having problems particularly with Tesco.
