If I clear my cookies does that mean all sites I subscribe to wipes out the info they have on me. It,s just that I havent written down things like passwords and such and use remember me thingys but dont get the cts I used to. NOW A MUM! you cant go to bed....who will do the piggy thing for us lazy bums?

Yes, clearing cookies will sign you out of sites I think. Unless you're using your browser's 'remember password' facility, which is different.

Clearing cookies won't help you get clickthroughs though. Just make sure all the categories of interest are ticked in your pigsback account and sit and wait... and wait... and wait :rotfl: They come through each monday but get fewer and fewer the longer you've been a member.

    Hope that helps!

    Kath :)

  • I'm not very computer literate but have heard that clearing my cookies can help as a pigsback member. Not sure how

To be perfectly honest before today i thought clearing my cookies constituted tidying up after a baking activity:D

How do I delete my cookies?

Intructions for Microsoft Windows 98 and later
Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
In Control Panel , double-click Internet Options.
On the General tab, click Delete Cookies under Temporary Internet Files, and then click OK.
    Click OK.

    Instructions for Firefox
    Open the Tools menu.
    Select Options.
Select the Privacy to open sub-menu.
    Click the View cookies item.
Select one or more cookies you want to remove and click "Remove Cookie". Clicking "Remove All Cookies" will delete all cookies.

    Hope this helps
