wondering if anyone knows how quickly PB deals with queries. I referred my brother who ordered his first voucher 17/03/07 sunday and unlike other referrals where i received the points the next day, these points never arrived. they were the 500points promotion and i did think maybe the Irish bank holiday effected it being added so waited until yesterday to email query- just wondering how long to give it till i chase- i don't usually query points with PB but for fivers worth...

    Thanks any responses appreciated.

Update for anyone who's interested my response to their response:-

    Dear Eamon

Thanks for your response which i cannot accept as a satisfactory response - as I practically sat on him and watched him use the link i sent him on the referral email. This was done because i have heard from several people that Pigsback are very hit and miss with referral points. There is no way that this sign up was not done using the referral link. I do not usually query missing points but on this occasion 500 points i cannot accept as not receiving especially when i know for a fact it was done using the correct link.

I along with all the people i have referred will no longer refer any more people until we can be sure that your tracking of referral sign ups has been sorted. I feel cheated that you continue to do this to gain more members you are basically lying.

I request only what is due to me which is 500 points.

    I await your prompt response.

    Kind Regards

    XXXX

    Hi,

I have examined your account and I can see that you have sent three referral emails this year. Two members have signed up through these referral emails. One has ordered a reward and you received PiggyPoints for this on the 6/2/07. The other member who signed up through a referral email has not yet ordered a reward.

I am afraid XXXX has not registered as signing up through a referral email. Therefore PiggyPoints cannot be added for a referral on this occasion.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

    Kind Regards,

    Eamon.

How do they think you would know when and where someone signed up if you had not referred them? Or that you would be on to it like a shot once the person had redeemed their first voucher if it wasn't a referral. I can't see why they are so stubborn on this one.

I've not tried to refer anyone yet but I really won't be trying until they have come up with a more water tight system. Perhaps add a field to their sign-up page to include referral details - that would help PB if you are watching! Other than that Sherbetpops tactic sounds like the one I'll use and I can only imagine that will create more work for them than an 'automated' system.
