Ugh, TT problems again

During the month of Dec '06, I went to hell and back connecting to TT. It was a regular thing that I could attempt to connect up to 20 times a day, yet achieve success perhaps only 5 times. I followed through their Connect & Go procedure, clicking first one thing then another. Without altering any of the settings, it sorted itself out.
I've since then been please that I didn't phone them and I've almost praised TT for my £9.95 fee each month.
Three days ago, these connection problems resumed. I've removed and replaced everything. Switched on and off. I've been swearing and cussing, but it makes no difference. The only thing I've done different to normal surfing, is to copy to favourites some bits of video from the news to show someone. Once this has been viewed, I will remove it and see if that makes any difference.
I still have some way to go in my contract, and realise I'd have to pay to be released, but whatever it is, I think I'm ready to jump ship. But to where, I can't really afford much of a increase.
