I'm absolutely fuming!
I was on Three on an 18mth contract and then went onto PAYG but had loads of problems which they were dreadful about dealing with finally cancelled it and went with another provider.
Recently its been stating Sim card registration failed at random times and then when trying to make/during calls it states Connection error and cuts me off.
I have been speaking to Nokia Care and Support and performed both soft and hard resets and I'm still having the same problems.
So they have now asked that I send it away to them with the proof of purchase so I've rang Three and they have given me the date and its out of its warrenty by a month. I suspected it would be and have mentioned it in my emails - is there any way they would be willing to extend it further or be flexible about it. ? Its £55 and there is no guarentee it will deal with the issue.

What warranty is the phone out of - the seller's or the manufacturer's? And what costs £55?0 -

Sounds like a problem with the sim card slot. Given it's out of warranty, you're probably best off getting a new phone as it will likely cost more than the phone is worth to get it fixed.0 -
AFAIK, Nokia manufacturer's warranty is 24 months. If the phone is more than 24 months old, why are you fuming? If you want to extend the warranty, it isn't free and you have to do this before the phone breaks.

I'm fuming because the phone has broken literally to the day the phone is out of warranty. Its a Nokia warranty - so I would assume the manufacturers; they offer 2 years/24 months begininng on the date the phone was purchased/contract taken.
I have not been having any luck at all recently and its been really hard trying to spin so many different plates/work longer hours to cover unexpected costs which I have been hit with - this is another cost I just cant afford. Its typical that I would be out of the warranty by a short period, if three had dealt with my complaint correctly from the beginning I may have been inside the warranty but they faffed around and spent several weeks sending me from pillar to post.
£55 is the amount of money that they want from me to send it away to Nokia for them to have a look at it - with no guarentee that anything they do will amend the problem.0
