Yes, there is a measuring syringe with it (each unit per 10kg body weigh) but if one wants to calculate in advance how much one needs for a certain dog for a certain number of days - it is tricky.

As I said, 2 online pharmacies and a vet could not tell me... sigh....

Metacam dosage with the syringe is done by the weight.

So therefore, if your dog is 40kg then you fill the syringe up to 40.

Gettingready has already said that so not sure of your point? They know the dose, they simply wanted to know what "40" on the syringe equates to in ml to know how long a 32ml bottle will last.

Exactly as Krlyr said....

Because if 40 on the syringe was 40ml that a 32ml bottle would not last a day...

And it was not only me confused with this calculation as I said before, 2 onlien pharmaies and one vet were not able to give me an answer to my question which I rhought was simple.

How long will a 32ml bottle of metacam last for 40kg dog?

both pharmacies and vet were telling me that syringe has a mesuring guide but that is NOT what I was asking.

So thanks to kind and clever people on here for help.

Zara just gone out with the dog walker and his puppy, the single dose yesterday made a massive difference, she was walking fine by the evening.

So just waiting for the 28th and her appointment.
