OK, so where did you get the usage of 102kWh from? If you are on E7, you have a dual rate meter, so tell us the usage on each rate.
Is 102kWh the combined usage, or from one register only? If one, tell us the usage for the other, and which is which (cheap rate and peak rate).

hi again, just got a letter and I'm on their "monthly cash" payment plan, and estimate it at £97 p/m ...eeeeek!
never paid that for gas/electric in the 3 bed semi i just left!
i don't know much about the meter, no buttons that i can make out if it is possible to read cheap/peak usage.
i just read the meter the day i moved in, and kept a check on it just so i could budget accordingly

If you can't post pics, post a link to a "similar" Google image.

will do, but the doors locked again!
i rang SP up and i was never on the eco7 tariff, and he did say it probably wasn't right for me, though i'm guessing 2 of the big money eaters are heating your water and washing machines? which are both done during the off peak time scale,
they've put me on a tariff of 21.7p per day standing charge + 11.449p per unit fixed for so long, + get a discount paying DD
    is this a fair rate?

Fairly typical. Compare using a comparison site.
