In this case, the people by what you've written, ran into your daughter and the dog.
That isn't somebody walking/jogging near a dog and it attacked, this was them veering into the poor thing and it reacting. Actually, it was likely reacting to the perceived threat to the daughter.
The joggers should have slowed down and allowed the cyclist past/gone past everyone quietly (not sure of directions of travel here), of course the cyclist should also have slowed down to not cause veering.
I've had people walk into and shove Asher out the way without looking/seeing him. Or rather try - he's a 45kg goldie, which makes missing him even more confusing, and means you can walk into him and he's really just a furry wall. A smaller dog or a kid they could've hurt/knocked over easily though.
Hope the joggers have enough sense to see they were being inconsiderate.0 -
My dog always reacts to joggers - I think they startle him and he starts barking at them and if they try to pat him he growls:oStopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
