Bargins to be had on ebid.co.uk

Fed up with ebay?, just to let people know recently ebay have been chucking off a huge amount of sellers regarding new copyright laws that started on the 1st of march ( everything i sell is 100% genuine and they still kicked me off:confused: ) and many other sellers have become fed up with ebays ever increasing sellers fees and have moved to the other side https://www.ebid.co.uk fastly becoming ebays greatest rival, Ive actually found that most items are far cheaper on ebid than ebay, as they are trying to attract new customers, its very easy to use and any sellers out there there are "no selling fees!!"

so why did they ban you then? perhaps it was because you were selling free samples that are NOT FOR RESALE?

Come on, get a grip. What's wrong with that?

Let me guess you follow every instruction on every item you purchase/get given/collect??

What if every item said 'not for resale..even secondhand' on it, would you not sell anything?

Yes you are allound to sell samples, type in samples and you will see how many are for sale, i was kicked off because of brand name issues you are not allound to list Armani because its a brand name, but you can list Chanel, but they wont tell you which brand names you are not allound untill you try list they just surspend you once you try to list the item.there customer services is a joke and i refuse to argue with there automated service of emails!! Iam just trying to let people know there is a alternative to ebay..thats all.

    Hi Julie.

Sorry, I'm new to eBay and don't understand the Armani thing as there are about 3000 items listed if you search for armani.

I also took a look on eBid and was incredibly disappointed by the lack of items for sale and the overpricing compared to eBay.

you are not allound to list Armani because its a brand name

Are you saying that if you are selling an Armani shirt for example, then you can't use the word Armani in the title or description? Surely that's not right.

Can't claim to be an ebay expert, but I'm not impressed with the ebid price comparison being based on 21 Sept 2005! HAven't ebay's listing prices changed since then? & aren't there regular cheap days?

Imagine if any major high street shop tried to use such a time expired price comparison...

Also, wouldn't this thread be better in the ebay & auctions forum?

ebay has a a rule where certian items can not be sold regarding VRO program they say all brand names are involved in this VRO system its just that some allow you to sell while other name dont, (i was actually relisting a armani perfume sample i had sold twice before)...but to be arkward they will not give you that list you just have to wait till you list the item that breaks the rule then all your auctions are ended with no notice and you have to go through a very lenghty process till you can be reinstated, i had 30 items selling and they stoped them all with no notice be warned!!! Break the rule again with another brand name and thats it chucked off for good.
