I gave ebid a try when it was mentioned on here a while ago..what a waste of an afternoon. I listed some of my regular ebay items, but listed them cheaply basically to build up feedback for future sales and nothing at all sold. Not only that but I didn't even get any views. Never again.
Also, the companies that police their goods on ebay will also police them on other sites they consider high profile. If they thought ebid was a problems for sales they would stop them selling their branded goods as well, the fact that they don't probably means they don't see ebid as a serious contender.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Break the rule again with another brand name and thats it chucked off for good.
yeah, they let you list and keep your listing fees when they pull the auction.0 -
Come on, get a grip. What's wrong with that?
Let me guess you follow every instruction on every item you purchase/get given/collect??
What if every item said 'not for resale..even secondhand' on it, would you not sell anything?
!!!!!!? I only asked a simple question, I was curious if that could have been the reason thats all! I never said there was anything wrong with it You need to take a chill pill !!!!!!!0 -
i just wanted to say i put about 8 items up for sale on Thursday was expecting it to be really slow but to my suprize 3 of them have already recived bids, so i think recently there a lot more buyers around on ebid than there was its defently growing in populatlarity. :jPeople who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...

You cant have your cake and eat it though can you.
You just said..
most items are far cheaper on ebid than ebay
and
any sellers out there there are "no selling fees!!"
As Soolin says, its crap for sellers. Your title may be correct ... bargains to be had, but you seem to be suggesting that its worth listing items on there, even though the winning bid will be very low . :S
Good for browsing to buy? But def not to sellBe nice0 -
Well maby there are people like me who have been chucked off ebay they have no alternative and want to sell there items, then they can sell them on ebid they may not make as much but its better than nothing!! Thats what iam trying to say.. Is that ok with you?:rolleyes:People who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...
