Vauxhall corsa 1.2 tax
Ive got a 1.2 corsa, only had it 5 months, its a 2002. Car tax just come through post £93.50 for 6 months and 170 for 12! is this correct.
I had a 1.8 megane scenic 5 months ago and that was also around this price for tax. I bought this car purely for running costs so getting this was a bloody shock. Is this correct??

All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

Should have checked before you bought it, as older cars even small cars, tend to have higher co2 emmisions.0 -

No, cars registered before 2001 ( I think) aren't eligable for any reduction, no matter how many hoops you jump through (despite what their leaflet says - 'vehicle tax emissions depend on the car's CO2 emissions...Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

What were you expecting? £170 over 12 months is nothing in the grand scheme of running a car.0
