Where do you live and where did you get the ticket? Would have to research if EU tickets are enforceable here unless someone knows?0

And who issued it?The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Can't see you being extradited for that one.

But worth bearing in mind the small (hypothetical) risk of a CCJ against you in another EU state (which may be issued by default) being enforceable by court bailiffs in the UK. That's the situation as I understand it under the European Small Claims Procedure.
Still don't know from the OP what kind of "ticket" we're talking about though.0 -
The address in ticket is
POLE DE SECURITE
B.P. 63
62520 LE TOUQUET
I would pay it by bank transfer if I knew how.My French is basic.
Parked a camper van more than 2m high in a carpark for a couple of daytime hours..It turns out there are laws against parking these in tourist areas, hence fine.0 -
Just ignore it0

I agree they can't enforce it here, they cannot access the dvla records here as there is no agreement in place. In the unlikely chance they pass it to someone here it will be just a useless debt collector that can be ignored.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Wait and see if any letter arrives. My guess is that it won't. I still haven't paid a parking fine that was issued 27 years ago in Italy. I'm just waiting for them to write before paying it.
If you get a letter come back for further advice.0 -
GTFA, that beats my fine from 10 years ago.
Mind you, the fabulous* Dutch cop; who was writing it out pointed out to me how difficult it would be to pay it from the UK, subtly giving me permission not to pay.
* When I say fabulous, I mean young, blonde and friendly. But the winner was telling a Scot he didn't have to spend money. And female, before anyone asks!!0 -
Just don't go back with the same vehicle registration - it may not be enforceable here, but they will know (when issuing another parking or police ticket) whether you paid the previous one, leading to possible increased difficulty later.0
