Can I return a bag?

Hi, I am new here so apologies if I have put this in the wrong place or missed the info on the website which would help me!
I bought a bag from Accessorize in January, I have barely used it (just for going out which rarely happens!) and it has already ripped. The seams are coming unsewn, the trim around the edge has come off and the strap is ripping away from the bag.
Normally, I would just sew this up and get on with it but its made out of a funny material that I can't sew. Can I take this bag back to the store as to be honest I would expect it to last much longer than 8 or so uses or are the store going to tell me its my fault? (It's not like I've even put anything heavy in it, unlike some people I don't carry my life in my handbag!!) I don't have a receipt either.
Can anyone advise me on what I can do (or do I just have to accept that I've bought a rubbish bag and never shop in Accessorize again?!).
Thanks

Up to six months, any fault is considered inherent, unless the store can prove otherwise. Therefore, they must support their claim if they try and argue it's your fault.
You haven't got a receipt, but if you paid for it by card, take a bank statement in. That'll provide some evidence for a proof of purchase.
The store has a choice of repair/refund/replace. If you haven't got a receipt, I'd guess they'd be reluctant to refund. Most likely scenario is a replacement.Competition wins: Where's Wally Goody Bag, Club badge branded football, Nivea for Men Goody Bag0 -
And until you find out otherwise - dont assume they will just blow you off - they might just swap it without any fussWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0
