I'm not spamming, if your dubious don't call them it doesn't affect me, just thought I would let people know about their services
You haven't given any specific reasons why people should use this company. Stating that they are "absolutely brilliant" is not convincing. This is an odd first post and does indeed seem like spam.

I did my trade on monday and recieved a rate of 1.24 when natwest were offering me 1.18 and that was for a trade of £2000 into Euros
Not bad, but the MasterCard rate was 1.256743 on Monday:

That is impressive however I have checked their rates for today and they are way over the inter-bank levels so they would not be able to actually trade at these rates without making a loss, I will keep an eye on this for the future however I was told by the Foremost Currency Group that I would have received a better rate with a higher volume. I am going to try and get a quote from mastercard to compare for next time but i do think that this might have just been the inter-bank rate locked in from this morning
Not sure if we're comparing like for like, but the rate I quoted was the rate you'd get for a purchase or a cash withdrawal with a zero-fee MasterCard (eg Halifax Clarity). It wouldn't be available eg for a bank transfer to an individual in France, if that's what you need.

But if you're going there you could withdraw cash and pay them.

In your original thread starter you said that you saved 'hundreds of ££ on a small transfer of money'

Well on the rates and the amount you mention, you only saved €120 which is roughly a little under £100. A strange, random and slightly exagerated thread starter!

    Hi all!

I recently came across a currency exchange company that managed to save me hundreds of ££ on a small transfer of money. They are called the foremost currency group and they were absolutely brilliant. I was very wary to use them after what happened with crown currency however they assured me that they have measures in place to avoid this. I spoke to a guy called Liam and he was fantastic with everything I would definitely recommend that you give them a call and ask for Liam even if it is only for some advice as you could end up saving thousands on a large exchange in comparison to the banks. If you have any questions about their service I might be able to answer some questions

I looked at ways of getting better than bank transfer rates a while ago and looked at many so called specialists in international funds transfer.

In your case, if you are only transferring £2K per time then its not too risky, but if you were buying property abroad then the sums would be huge. This could mean the savings are very large, but bear in mind that these companies are usually big international concerns and are NOT banks, so if they keep your money, lose your money, go bust etc at the point when they are holding your money, then you stand to lose the lot.

I would not believe any statement that they have measures to avoid problems, because they would say that wouldnt they. The only safety assurance that can exist is being registered as a Bank, when the first £85K is secured, or if you have an independent and reputable insurance policy specifically designed to cover these risks.
