Anyone stayed at BelleVue Club in Majorca?

Options
Hi,

Looking around for cheap AI deals and came across BelleVue in Puerto Alcudia on Majorca - reviews seem to be quite mixed.

Money is really really tight this year so it is either cheap AI or no holiday again.

I would be staying with DH & 3 sons (ages 17,16,11) - anyone able to advise as to whether there is going to be enough in the area for teenagers to do?

Has anyone stayed at BelleVue? If I was to go ahead and book have you any advice as to how to make the most of our stay e.g. are some rooms better than others etc.

We are not experienced travellers and really would appreciate any advice you could pass on.

Thank you :)

  • Bellevue is the council estate in the sun lol. Depends really on what you are looking for in a holiday. There uis a water park nearby that teenagers might like, lots of British bars etc

    Worst holiday of my life.
Basically lots of council flats (looks like it!) blocked on a big site.
Hour wait for the food in all inclusive 20 minute wait for drinks - staff rude and food cheap.
Rats rolling around and lots of very drunk teenagers causing rowdiness.
    Stay away! see tripadvisor

The reviews are not brilliant OP .

I travel abroad several times a year . My advice would be NOT to book this hotel because of the above .

If you look at On the beach deal finder http://www.onthebeach.co.uk/deal-finder

You can then tick all the boxes you would like to find a holiday .

Once you find something you like check the reviews on Trip Advisor .

Then go to http://www.skyscanner.net/ to find the cheapest flights .

When you find the flights . Then search through all of the different websites for the hotels best deal .

Be careful with the cases/transfers/insurance as many sites add these automatically . when in fact they are far cheaper booked separately .
    Never tell .

    Hee hee.

I second the comments on here. A couple of years ago I went to Alcudia. Nice place. My hotel was the next block up a side street from Bellevue. We had to walk down this street to get to the main avenida in Alcudia. This is completely true when I say in the morning, there were used condoms on the pavement, either thrown from the apartment room of Bellevue....... or if not that then who knows. In most of the rooms along this street was football beach towels hanging over the balcony. So I could guess who occupied this block I had to pass.

In fact if I mention Alcudia to anyone at work, Bellevue is what most people think of. My transfer coach went inside the complex and it seemed huge. To me a bit like Butlins holiday camps was in the 80's. Lots of different areas of accomodation spread over a large space.

Having said that,if I was offered a £140 week in Alcudia and had to stay there, I would go.

But if I was choosing a my holiday, I would not pick there.

    Hope that helps. :)

Stayed there about 10 years ago before we had kids and recall it being OK, but from others more recent experiences sounds like it has changed a bit!

In fairness we stayed out of season, and before we had kids I was more worried about the drinks in the bar than the facilities!
