Yes. Ferkin LOVE it!!!
I just get annoyed at the NTs' behaviour a lot of the time though.... when they're just being mean.0 -
my daughter is an Aspie, and I suspect my husband may be too. We adore big bang. My daughter is 13 and thinks Sheldon is her ideal man. Super intelligent and doesn't see the point of small talk!0

I watch with my DS1 - it has helped him see how his behaviour can be regarded by others - but with humour and that makes the difference.

Me! Its quite weird my friends are the spitting image of Leonard and sheldon, we love tormenting them about it.0

BBT is just about the only 'fiction' programme my DH will watch occasionally - though we both find the canned laughter intensely annoying. It does help him to see how NT people sometimes perceive and react to him.0

Crime series The Bridge, a Swedish-Danish co-production, is currently being shown on BBC Four. The lead female detective appears to have Asperger's (it's never discussed in the series) so she's great at her detail-focused job but less good at understanding social situations and some of the motivations for why people act as they do.
All the episodes are still on the BBC iplayer and it's worth a watch if you don't mind subtitles.
There are some quite gory scenes and some quite explicit ones though, so be warned.0 -
I saw the first episode of The Bridge yesterday! It's tense stuff but I loved the detective character. I think they got just the right amount of dark humour out of her social ineptitude without in any way making her a figure of fun.0

"Bones", a tv series based on a female lead, co-starring the "Angel" from Buffy has the same thing, an aspie female very good at her job, investigating crime.0
