Hope postie hurries up i want him to come before i go to work :)

Still contemplating what to do about photos. You all know what i am like with my camera. So a disc of photos is pretty much a must on my list. I want to to be able to have the photos (i can shoe you all some then) and share with those that werent there. Plus want to use them for thank you cards etc and prints/gifts for tje parents on both sides. think its going to bepretty much a no brainer it's just finding the cash

Becks - Perhaps the photographer would accept a deposit on the £250, knowing that you'll get money as wedding presents, then you could pay the balance after the wedding. May be worth talking to him about it.

Can't think of anything else at the moment, but will apply my mind to it throughout the day and see if I can come up with anything.

Thanks Sue yes i have thought that myself so will definitely ask :)

I dont feel so rubbish about it today as will find a way someow. After all its my big day and it will only happen once :D therefore a slight extravagance for photos is a small price to pay (except that it is just under half a months income to me)

Probably not a MSE way but do you have a credit card that the photographer would take Becks? If you only have it on the card for a short time it may not even cost you anything.

Will have to weigh up the options. Especially as they have just said it's the full £250 upfront. Right time to get thinkin. Off to work now as well :(

    Afternoons all

Sorry not had chance to pop on since back from Paris LO been a nightmare last few days he's really turned into a naughty little boy doing everything he shouldn't lol

Well done on all the wins I missed

Paris was great with a bit of rain but was a lovely long day out.....knackered by time home thou and then LO was up most the night lol

Some would of seen on twitter but for others who havn't seen. While round parents on Sun for Father's Day I got an early birthday present. A wonderful Kenwood mixer, been after 1 for months esp since my baking win and now have won. Not a win but still a wonderful present from my parents. I'm over moon with it. Dad said mum was so excited about giving it to me she couldnt wait the extra 6 days lol. Bless her, she's a tad green thou as she wants one. So told her if I win 1 she can have this 1 and I'll have the new 1 LOL

Glad you enjoyed Paris and congrats on the mixer. I must admit I'm a bit disappointed with mine because it tends to just push the mix to the side of the bowl. It's great for large amounts, but not for the sort of amount a normal family cake would use.

Mine seems to have a layer on the bowl but takes a second to spoon round it and push it back to centre so not too bad.....looking forward to making this yrs xmas cake with ease lol
