Thanks! Joshs idea of study is playing the playstation or chatting on skype! Its frustrating as he's a really bright lad, but will fail his GSCE's if he doesn't pull his socks up!
Yes Alan is like that - loves his PS3 and won't study! (He is going to be a chef.)Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I am sure you have told him already sheils that his exams are important even though he has a job lined up.
Have ordered my magnets. MIL was happy price had gone down as she had offered to pay for them for us. Just waiting for my paypal credit now so i can order my wedding post box and ribbon.
Waiting for the postie patiently, seen his van round the area so can't be far off

Morning everyone
Sorry Becks, I was in late last night too but didn't come in the inn to talk as was busy posting comps. Was so far behind posting!
That's a great deal on your wedding favours. Lovely idea too!
Perscat, sorry about your friend xx I'm sure your son will buck up his ideas when you remind him how hard it is getting a job these days! My DD wants to be a singer and has a lovely singing voice but doesn't speak in school as she is extremely shy!
Sheils, you really do get out and about (sooo jealous!) I wish hubby was as adventurous as you and your DH! I've been to Hartlepool Marina (was there a few weeks ago then Dalton Park) there is a pirate ship in the marina that you can go on. Seaton Carew is just up the road, the beach is lovely but the fair and some amusements have shut down now unfortunately. Good luck to your DS with his new job
I hope postie brings something nice today for me. He is so unlucky, I want my old postie back!all I ever get now is the rm postal surveys (practically every day! Groan!)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Postie has just been and brought me.............................. a Limited Edition......................Brit Kat!
I like chocolate as much as the next girl, but give me a break (see what I did there?) That's 2 Kit Kats this week!

Very clever Sue!
Want to go to the Maritime Experience and DH wants to see Andy Capp's statue Wingo. DD has spotted a Primark and New Look there too so that will keep her happy for a while.
Just looked up Seaton Carew - it looks lovely. Will need to keep our fingers crossed for the sun to come out when we go so that we can go on the beach!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

It used to be really lovely at seaton Carew sheils but it's run down now. Still maintains best beach status though, just nothing else there!

Still no wins for me. Got another 3 RM letters for surveys. The dog almost chewed it up!
I got my sis to start comping and her DD won a prize from pink mag today :j I guess there's no turning back now!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
I remember having lovely days at Seaton Carew when I was a child also got happy memories of Redcar and Salburn. Have not been back to Seaton Carew or Saltburn for about 30 years but a few years ago went to Redcar and felt very sad at how it looked.Be Lucky Everyone0

Been to Redcar and Saltburn in the last few years but never got to Seaton Carew before. Have been going to Saltburn for years - usually stay at Middlesbrough when we go.
Well done Becks - will go and check the books out now! I did look for them yesterday but didn't see any. DH read 2 of them really quickly and I have reviewed them with his comments so getting fairly up to date. I had to order some of the "Portrait of A Spy" series for him as he loved that one.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
