morning all, yep, it's raining here again

doesn't deter them pesky squirrels though :eek: hanging upside down trying to get through to the bird nuts :rotfl:

bought those 'supposed' to be squirrel proof bird feeders, greased the poles, done everything that's supposed to deter them & they still shin up & manage to get the stuff, swear they sit laughing at us trying to stop them :rotfl:they're funny to watch but sometimes they've nicked the bird balls before the little birds come :eek:



anyone any ideas what else might stop them?

Morning all,

Great pics as usual FF! No rain here at the moment - just waiting on postman now.
Won another sample pack of tea on the Tetley Tea Pickers FB site this morning. I'm hoping its the 80 bag that they show and not one little tea bag! It would be really handy to take on our hols as we are SC as usual and need our usual cuppas.

Postman just brought my big box of Krave so hope kids like it. DD was just moaning about the lack of cereals this morning. Must buy in a stock later. Never had to buy any for nearly all of last year so it will be a shock to the system. Not many offers on them just now either - typical.

Morning all, just put a Lamb Hotpot in the oven for lunch, OH has to work at 2pm, I hate eating early.

We don't get the little birds in our garden any more, it's all pigeons and seagulls. Haven't seen a sparrow or a starling for the last couple of years around here. I used to like watching them. We have a bird table but only get the pesky pigeons on it.

OH has just got back with the dog and traipsed grass cuttings right through the house, why don't men think?

I wasnt a big fan of the krave bit have eaten it because i want to get down our little stash... Most of ours was free too... 2boxes from alton towers, a box of golden syrup weetabix i won and the box of krave i won :rotfl: was really hoping foe the dorset cereal prize but never mind

& the magpie's chase them off :rotfl: it's like watching a nature programme on tv sometimes here :rotfl:squirrels come first, then the little birds, pigeons sit under the feeding stations & the magpies come down & chase them off :rotfl:
in the evenings the foxes
sit & look in our windows waiting for some of the elderly ladies who take them out scraps all great fun :rotfl:

Postie has just bought me another book to review. It was one off waterstones fb page. Also bought my lotto ticket holders - not quite what i expected and not sure they are actually big enough to hold a lotto ticket but will make use of them now i have got them.

Also got a nice card off some people i work with when i go across to the Isle of Man for the car racing
