Hi and good evening to all,
I am relatively new to this site and this is my first post! Just wondering if anybody has any advice for me: I have been entering comps for the past 2months now (approx. 20 per day, sometimes more, sometimes less) and so far have won absolutely NOTHING!! Everyone is telling me to give up, does anybody have any similar stories to share/advice? Thanks0 -
Reading this should be your first step:

Also 20 per day isn't a lot, I try to do at least 100 each day which doesn't take that long, I would up your entries if you can. Remember too that some of the comps you have entered may not even have finished yet.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Don't give up, then you most definitely won't win!
Alot of people on here enter 100 a day (not sure if that includes the dailies though? I enter about 100 with the dailies but not sure about other people. Can anyone clarify on their amount of comps?).
It might take time to get your first win but if you don't enter than you don't even have a chance.
What kind of things are you entering for? Things like cash, iPads etc have more people entering than those for DVDs or smaller prizes.2019 Wins

smythy25, welcome to the Inn. I have been "seriously" comping since November 2011 on this site after winning a Kids Bike for my Granddaughter with Dairylea (FB). I only enter on average 25 a day (a bit more at weekends). I win about 4 prizes a month (cosmetics, books, chocolate, cake, toys, clothes).
I have been a comper for a long time on and off. It's worth entering competition where there are several prizes (etc 20 x Goody Bags or 10 x Perfume). While it's nice to win a big prize go for the smaller prizes too which keep you going until you are lucky to win a big one. Creative comps or ones which you have to do something are good to enter as fewer people enter these which mean you have a better chance of winning.
A promoter can take upto 28 days to send a prize out so don't give up as you may already be a winner. Some promoters tell you with a wem (winning email) or the 1st you find out you won is when a parcel arrives at your door.
Good Luck and look forward to hearing of all your wins.

hiya & welcome
please don't give up  there's hundreds of comps to be entered every day on here, dailys, mags postings, monthly mag postings, etc,
using the 'thanks' & entered' button you can keep track of your entries & then you'll know which ones you've done so the next day all the new ones will be on for entering,
keep at them & hopefully you'll soon be posting in IWIW :jplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
I can enter over 500 in a day including dailies, postals etc when I have a full day to do them. Most days it's around 150 a day.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0
