Hi All

First post here so go easy on me , hopefully its in the right place! I have been for the last month or so entering quite a number of competitions posted on here. I guess most of the direct entry ones I would get an e-mail if I had won? I have however been entering a lot on FB and I kind of worry that I will miss in my news feed that im a winner....... Having just been away for a couple of weeks its difficult to catch up. What does everyone else do? Do you get e-mail notifications for FB comps?

Hello.

If you join The Winners Circle on FB, they tend to copy alot of the companies winning posts there and then people tag you (assuming they have you on FB).

Alot of FB companies will just post your name on their wall and ask you to contact them for like and share comps. With the Sweepstakes/app comps, they tend to email you.

I have found a competition in Specsavers magazine but I can't get it to work. I am on facebook but it simply won't load for me so wonder if someone else can post please

More importantly we ask that you don’t respond, get involved or start name calling – that simply isn’t helpful and it means in the long run you risk your own privilege to post on this forum being removed just as much as the original trouble maker.

If there is a problem 'don’t feed the troll' – in other words don’t engage or let it escalate: report it to us.

We don’t have moderators on the site, the forum is too big and it's not legally advisable. Yet even if we did, it is very difficult to judge who is right and who is wrong in a fight.

Either report or spam it please.

Might be an idea to remove the quotes, it doesn't bother me but no sense in upsetting others who might not have seen the posts.

Sorry but it is not working for me either. Get a 'secure browsing not supported' error. Tried in Google Chrome and IE.

Could be a user error on my part - I am not very browser/cookie/cache savy
