Just a thought, does chrome get updated freq like FF? Only I have had to do that sometimes when a ff update has been buggy. If it does can you roll it back? xxxMy light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -

The update process happens in the background and doesn't require any action on your part.
Check your browser version: Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar and select About Google Chrome. The version number is the series of numbers beneath the "Google Chrome" heading.

When entering the Whats on tv dailies I'm finding after answering the initial question it just goes back to the main wotv first page stating I still have 6 entries for the day. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Hello everyone.
I apologise if this isn't strictly the correct place to post this, but I hope you don't mind
I've recently started entering competitions every morning with my cup of tea as part of my routine, and I'd just like to enquire about something relating to TPS:
If I win a competition, and they wish to contact me via telephone, will they still be able to if I'm registered with the Telecoms Preference Service?
Also on the note of telephones: What do people suggest is better with regards to mobile and landline numbers? I've been giving only my landline to competition forms, but I'm not really in that often. I've got this gut-feeling that putting my mobile number would result in more hassle (by being contacting about irrelevant and pointless things) as I always have it with me. Is this the case?
Thank you very much0 -
TPS is virtually useless anyway most companies just simply ignore their register with little or no consequences, being on the list wont stop you receiving a wtc (winning telephone call) so I wouldn't worry too much, just use your landline and opt out of third party contact when possible, I've been comping for a long time and rarely if ever get hassle, I use both mobile and landline where possible but if I had a preference it would be landline - good luck:)
ETA - I would recommend a separate email address for comping though, we get a lot of spam:)All power is from within and therefore under our control0 -
This morning I could not like anything and now I cannot access Facebook at all. Is anyone else having these problems?
My friend who is also on facebook is not having any problems at all so I was wondering whether it was due to the comping.
Thanks
Both my OH and I have been having intermittent problems with facebook, and he doesn't comp at all.
I think it's just facebook.
Hope it improves soon for you.42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot:hello: Good Luck everyone !:hello:0 -
Same here ... I use my landline mostly, but all calls are screened before answering them!Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0

Give this a read, somewhere in there it says about the possibility of having a spare mobile jus for competitions helps to weedle things out.0
