sorry, I use ff and Roboform, know nothing about Chrome, just didn't want you to think you were being ignored, hope someone can help, xxx

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems when entering the magazine websites for the daily comps.(Chat, woman look, pick me up etc)

I havent been able to enter any for a month now. I use internet explorer. They have been doing maintenance on the websites but all is ok now for everyone else I think.

I can log onto all the sites no problem but as soon as I click onto competitions nothing happens and it virtually freezes.

I am not getting any luck with them IPC mags as all they keep saying is there maintenance work is taking longer than expected.

It is weird as I took my laptop to sons at weekend and could enter there with his internet connection no problem.

I have tried downloading Chrome and it is the same with that just freezes as soon as competitions is clicked on.

Would love any advise or to hear from anyone who is experiencing same problem.

Hi mrsgreenwood sorry I've not been in this forum for a few days.
Hope this helps you

Manage your Auto-fill entries

Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar.
Select Settings.
Click Show advanced settings and find the "Passwords and forms" section.
Click Manage Auto-fill settings.
In the dialogue that appears, you can create as many profiles as you like:
To save a new address entry, scroll to the end of the "Addresses" section and click Add new street address.
To save a new credit card entry, scroll to the end of the "Credit Cards" section and click Add new credit card.
To edit an existing entry, double-click it in the list to open the editing dialogue.
To delete an existing entry, select it from the list and click the x that appears at the end of the row.
If you're using a Mac, addresses from your Address Book are included as potential Auto-fill matches by default. If you'd prefer not to see those addresses, deselect the "Include addresses from my Address Book" checkbox.

Maybe re-boot your modem, or clear your cookies, hopefully one of those should do the trick!

thanks for your reply. when i go to add new address, i fill in all my details but it doesnt seem to save? the box is still blank where there should be an address??

I know this is drastic but it could work.
Remove the Google chrome program from your computer, then re-load it again.
If that doesn't work I'm sorry I don't know what will, but maybe some-one who's more techie minded can help.
