Online account only

Hi, I am looking for an online account only where I can put a money little but often on a weekly basis, I don't want bank statements arriving by post or any mail regarding my savings, I don't want phone calls or contact any other way I just want an online account and nothing more, What are my options?

Thanks
Kay

What bank are you with now, presumably you have a current account, just open a savings account and transfer funds over when ever you like, they go instantly and just opt for paper free banking.

    I do this with Halifax

    I have a current account
    A saver account
    An ISA.

I can just transfer between the 3 at will.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Any UK bank or building society. You would have to work hard to find one that did NOT offer the service you want.

Sorry, I need to clarify some details, I already bank with Halifax online, my partner has access to these accounts, now I want to save for a surprise holiday in a few years without her knowing so this is why I want no post from this particular account, sneaky I know.
  • You may find that despite opting for paper-free banking, you will still get some stuff through the post, e.g. the annual declaration of interest for tax purposes.

If you really mean NO post, because you don't want someone else at the address to see your own private business, maybe you need to talk to an advisor at your chosen bank to find a way round this.
A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove you don't need it.

Does your employer allow you to receive personal post? Open a savings account with another bank and set your work address as the correspondence address.

They might still want to send some information to your registered address though, if only to make sure you actually collect post there.

I'm sure if you informed Halifax to what you were doing, they would create an account not visible from internet banking.

does she actually open your mail?
If not, I would have thought that given the amount of junk mail that comes an odd statement once a year wouldn't be a problem.

I'd have though the bank would not allow that.
They will check you pass ID at the work address and you will fail.

Same here but they don't open new current accounts as far as I am aware although they may have other accounts that are suitable.
