Sands is a music venue in what was once the Palace Nightclub. They do Motown, Soul, Swing nights etc, have tribute acts and things like that. It's generally dinner and the show. On the ground floor there's a nice cafe open during the day.
I've never been in the evening but my phone number is not dissimilar and people keep phoning me to book a table!0 -
We went last weekend as a party of 13 with ages raging from 12 to 70 . The place is beautiful , upstairs from the show room is a champagne bar that is gorgeous! The food, service and entertainment was second to none and well worth the £25pp. It's the 2nd time we have been and the only thing letting I down both times is the atmosphere, there was no one in the champagne bar and maybe 30 in the show room. It's such a shame as it has the potential to be a very top class place, it's gorgeous but unless they get their numbers up it would put me off going again I'm affraid x0

I have had a nose online, I just dont think it would be suitable for a 5 year old and a 1 year old sadly.
Im amazed looking online, there is a real lack of information for this kind of thing.0 -
Certainly not for littlies if I'm honest
Where abouts are you staying? They are plenty of wacky warehouse type places where you can have a few drinks.0 -

We are down the bottom end, the pier furthest away from the fair. Apparently that pier has entertainment but I seem to remember the whole thing closing down early evening.
The wacky warehouse places are cool, we are just hoping for somewhere with entertainment really. Maybe even a hotel that allows none residents.0 -

Asking around, Blackpool has a rep for being poor for night time family entertainment. Its a major disadvantage of not going to say a Haven.0 -

Wetherspoons on the prom allows children outside after 9.
Coral Island has the Flagship bar/restauarant that allows kids in till 11.
Norbreck Castle has family entertainment and allows non residents.
