    Morning all

Sunny here :) and more importantly I have just handed in all my uni work :j:j:j:j:j PGCE is over
    x

Yay  well done you :j

Sunny here too, dont know how long for.I got 2 lots of washing dried yesterday but it rained really hard after tea and in the night.I have got DH off work today, very unusual, but his back was really bad last night, and he slept on the sofa sat propped up as he just couldnt get comfy. He did pull something last week but this morning is wondering if its a virus as he has now got a sore throat and is aching all over.

Big dog has to have an operation today to remove 3 lumps,he went at 9.We have to ring at 2 to see how he is,hopefully they are just fatty lumps, but she may have to send it off to the lab.£350 ish .Cant settle at home :o-I was going to go out but DH being poorly has scuppered that.Might just nip to Lidl in a bit ,we've run out of spuds.Mind you its pasta bolognese for tea so dont actually need them today, and its raining hard again now.

Must remember to water my seeds in the conservatory,4 tomato plants my neighbour gave me,some peppers, and dill & basil.Right on with the housework. At least I did a load of ironing yesterday-though theres more now.

Lovely to see some old names popping up :),and new ones welcome.
Molly-hope it continues well for DS,sorry to hear about your guinea pig .
Marie- am continuing to hope for news of Kerry.

    Morning

Weather was stormy in the night and still very mixed now, not taking any chances will definately wear waterproofs to work. Washing will go on airer.

Have a morning off work so am trying to catch up on here and on housework, so doing bit of each. Here is far nicer. That said have managed to give kitchen once over, DW on, 2nd load of washing on and bit of a tidy in living room. Tea tonight will be tuna pasta bake with LO for tomorrows packed lunches. DS now on study leave so am trying to make sure he actually studies, while getting balance of rest and a bit of social life. Also chased dentist as both kids waiting for referrals.

Does anyone know where you can recycle cordless landline phones? Mine has finally given up the ghost, have bought new one but dont want to just throw out old one.

    Thoughts to all.

    WB to all the returnees.:o

    Marie (((HUGS)))

Molly if Squeaky is setting off for the Rainbow Bridge, may it be a peaceful crossing. (((HUG)))

RosyRed (((HUG))) try not to worry too much about Big Dog. Lots of my guests have had lumps removed at different times; often the vet will send them off for analysis just to be safe - they did with Penny-Dog. Let us know when he's safely home.;)

Jools really sorry to hear about your friend; 47 is no age at all! (((HUG)))

    Hello!
Been absent for a week or so - its been that time again, anniversary of losing DS1 so a bit sad for all of us. DS2 staying here this week, not well at all, and has had two trips to A&E within three days. Sure his cocktail of drugs is not right for him. but little we can do about it.
Have done two loads of washing, but having put it out and taken it in again twice already have now given in and am using the TD. Back grass just cut - bit of a race with the increasingly heavy rain, but just made it!
Only one child left for tuition this evening, so will be nice to be in early. Hoping to get started on the Christian Aid collection. Annual penance as I really, really hate doing it!
Have also been to the gym and the library - and have a lovely sparkly kitchen! Think I need to go and lie down now!!!
Hope you all have a good day. Take care.

    Afternoon all,

beautiful sunny day here, you wouldnt believe that only half an hour ago it was chucking it down with huge hailstones and i had to lock my gate as the wind was lifting it off the catch and the door was banging into the side of the house.

Spent ages this morning cleaning up the layer of plaster dust that is floating through the air after having the gas fire taken on the wall and bricked up the weekend.

I was going to do shepherds pie for tea but ive left it a bit late. Might have pork instead.

Ive got a pile of receipts to the left of me to wade through from stuff i bought the weekend. I need to use online banking to see whats gone out and what hasnt (and see how much i'm left with). Then i'll start on the tea i think.

    Is it bed time yet?

Hugs and encouragement to those who need it and also to those who dont.

    Thanks for the hugs x
We lost Squeaky - she had a growth and in the last couple of days had stopped eating and squeaking - she usually sang for her breakfast and was very vocal. She would also snatch her lettuce out of her hand but she had gone down hill so we made the decision to let her go. My poor DS is very upset and he has an exam tomorrow. Hope he will be ok:(

We also rescued a hedgehog this morning so really hope she makes it x

    Hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
