Yes or their savings account, either one will do.0

the old man phoned up.. but was declined an account because they cant find him on the electoral roll??
The electoral roll/register is a very important instrument. Not being on the electoral roll means several things- you cannot vote
- your credit record is not as good as it could be
- applications for bank account, phone contracts, credit cards etc are likely to be turned down

Thanks, applying online - I need to transfer 2 SO/DD - would 2 SO of £2 coming out of another account I have suffice?
Also does anyone know how to do the transfer online because I have applied online and there is no mention of the easyswitch service through the online application form

Is that for the incentive, cause I'm not eligible for the incentive but I thought you had to use their "easy switch" service to get the £100.
Easyswitch will be available on internet banking when you get your account set up, or you could call them for the forms.0 -

i wouldn't say so... like i said i have 4 accounts also have a credit card (never use it tho) and im not on this electoral roll
I don't wanna be controlled nor does the old man
(you should of seen us vs the census man lol)
but still doesn't make sense why FD turned him down simply because they can't find him on 'the system' that's gotta be the biggest load of boll0cks I've heard.• HSBC (Main A/C)

First Direct can be very picky about who they accept as customers. I had a fight on being accepted myself but will never get any credit facilities with them again but that really does not bother me as I just want to save in their regular savers.0
