Pay as you go, which one to choose?
My husband has just got an upgrade and has given me his old phone.
I need to get a sim card and get a top up pay as you go. I havent had a phone for a few years as dont realy need one although it will be handy for texts and the odd phone call.
Could anyone recomend which PAYG would be best for me as I am totaly clueless
Thanks in advance

That said, it all depends on how many texts you are going to send.
There is £1/month contract (Vectone) that gives you 30 minutes and 30 texts.
Also, it is worth checking the coverage in the areas where you are going to use the phone.0 -
Have a look at the ASDA offerings, cheaper than most, and no loss of credit if you do not use it for a couple of months [think there is a limit, not sure what it is]
6p text 10p minute talk
Top up in store, uses Vodaphone network
I use them, but rarely make calls or texts, more for emergency really. £5 lasts a year or more for meEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

Talkmobile offer the best package for lite users IMO. You get 8p calls and 4p texts and it's half price to other talkmobile users.
TalkMobile run on Vodafone signal and I generally have great experiences with their customer services :-)0 -
I think I have dolphin orange PAYG plan, I pay just ten quid a month and get free internet, and something like 600 texts. The bonus is that I don't use my phone all that much, so my credit is growing. Give it a couple of months I'll have loads of credit.0
