hey all, new here and am doing the living on a budget as most seem to be on here
I am looking for some interesting recipes for things to do with mince .... obviously the norm ie ...... spag bol, chilli, meatballs are covered but anything slightly diff would be good ......... I get bored with food quickly
Have browsed around on here and cant find anything that stands out so any help would be greatly appreciated .......... to feed 3 big appetites usually but on some occasions up to 7
also anything with chicken, sausages too lol ........ seriously I have looked on here and its all very confusing
Also another plea again also I have looked on here and am confused again ......... would like a fool proof cup cake recipe that I can add stuff too and also a butter cream recipe ........ there are lots on here but lots of different quantities etc for dry ingredients ........ I would be making 12 per batch ........
hoping for some inspiration and sending out thanks in advance

A great favourite with mince here is to add onion and grated carrot (and other veg if you've got it) a good handful of oats or breadcrumbs, a beef oxo and an egg and mix it well....bung in a loaf tin and oven bake for about an hour (you may need to tip some of the juices out halfway through)
We have it sliced with mash and veg or cold the next day with salad, new pots etc.

One day I'm going to write a book, '1001 things to do with mince.'
You do batch cook a load of mince and freeze portions I hope.
One idea my family loved....
Make some pancakes. Put a good dollop of cooked mince (spag bol mix, cottage pie mix) in the middle of each pancake and roll up. Put rolled pancakes into an oven dish and cover the lot with cheese sauce. This can be done in advance and all you have to do is to bung it in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
Enjoy.I believe that friends are quiet angels
