    I wouldn't worry about it. I think we've all done it at some point and very few people seem to get done for it.

    You can always have a look on your local police force website for the camera locations to see if there is one there or not.

    If car behind was very close, then any picture taken should also show this car therefore you could challenge on basis it was safer to continue due to closeness of following vehicle.
    However if you did not see flashes (and they are hard to miss) then nothing to worry about.

    Except that the DS answer to tailgating is to slow down, leaving yourself more time to react to, for example, a light turning amber.
