Recommend A Friend To Talk Talk Plus, Any Offers Aside From The Current Online One?

Just a quick question. I'm on Talktalk (I know, I know!!) and while their CS have issues, I've barely had any problems with them.
My sister wants to join from Sky, as she's tightening her belt budget-wise. According to this thread: http://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76484&highlight=recommend+friend "TalkTalk don't offer any member gets member discounts."
Is the current online offer of half price broadband/phone for the Plus package the best she will get? I'm assuming there's no Recommend A Friend offers at the moment. http://sales.talktalk.co.uk/product/broadband/plus (which is £7.25 + £9.50 line rental = £16.75 for 6 months).
Thanks for any input.

Hey LouLou
In a nutshell, the current offer on the plus package is the best available at the moment but saying this, the offer ends 30/05 so after this they could end up offering a better deal (i.e. 9 months half price) but this is not necessarily always the case.
In terms of savings, if your sister is going to purchase her package online then she may as well go through Quidco and she'll get £65 cashback (current rate).
If you factor this in then:
(7.25 + 9.50) x 6 = £16.75 first six months
(14.50 + 9.50) x 6 = £24 next six months
Total = £244.50 - 65(cashback) = £179.50
equating to £14.95 a month0 -
Thanks for the quick reply. Not sure if they're leaving Sky this month or next but I'll suggest that to her. Don't think she's with Quidco
