What right from day one? How long have you and your daughter been in this situation?

Hi again everyone, and thank you for continued advice.

Just to answer some questions about £100k debt - about £40k is a joint debt secured against house, the remaining £60k debt is mine on credit cards / loans. Husband probably has less than £60k in his own credit cards / loans. It's a struggle every month.

The house is in a state of disrepair - what I should have said is if the house had been in pristine condition it would sell for £200k - possibly - in todays market make that nearer £160k and then probably whack a bit off for it's condition - which could have something done to it.

I have a meeting with work scheduled, I think redundancy might be one of the options after all. So devastated by this on top of everything else.

Kids are main priority, that's why I'm trying to get this all fixed. They are first and foremost the reason behind trying to get a better life - even if its a paupers one!
