    Evening all

Quite nice here, inbetween the showers! I'm not in the best of moods, bit tired and have the start of a cold :( so feeling sorry for myself.

Busy day in work, followed by college this evening. Luckily we were let out early as my concentration was waning :).

I was early for college so popped to the supermarket to get a drink, and got some YS bargains for my tea. I got a pizza for £1, 2 x garlic breads for 75p and a bag of salad for 30p :D. Just eating that now before I print out the last of my uni work ready to submit it tomorrow.

OS wise - LO lasagne frozen, dishes to wash, recycling put out.

    Have a good night all

    Evening all,

Hope you've all had a good day, hugs to those who need them (((:))))

Been busy today, work this morning, home for lunch (bm bread made into banana sandwiches - yum!) then finally got my essay finished this afternoon to hand in at college tomorrow, and also visited my dad:). I'm not entirely sure what to do with myself now ... never mind, I have a presentation to prepare for the middle of June! And we're going to Spain in a couple of weeks! :j:j:j

HM mushroom soup for dinner - lots left for lunches during the week.

Have a good evening all! CBx :)

    Good evening folks

Must be the day for the prodigals to return lol Laptop has decided to work tonight so decided to do a quick post before it dies on me again. Been trying to read most days when I can - usually at lunchtime at work tbh.

Been trying to keep to OS ways (well have to due to finances lol) Planted some tomatoes, corn, beetroot, potatoes and squash out in the last few days so fingers crossed that the frosts are finished with.

Still waiting to become a gran for the first time - 6 weeks or so left, so getting very excited about that. Hope you are all doing well, I will post more often if the laptop allows!!!

Another fun filled day, have slept most of it thanks to this virus or whatever, got up to be told a friend and colleague has died today, he was 47 on friday, had a massive stroke, am now contemplating the wiseness of dodging the doctor to discuss my high cholesterol! My thoughts are with his 2 young sons tonight, but am also silently glad he didnt have to live with the after effects, we had that discussion many times and it would be the last thing he wanted!

Welcome back Sybil....lovely to see you and hear that things are going well with the schoolboy!

Cold and dry here this morning, followed by frequent hail showers...lovely.

DGD1 in London(7) has drawn up a poster re Kerry....she is even offering a 'reyward' of £4.99...had to smile although had a little weep too. Still no news.

Blanket number 3 finished so will start 4 to-morrow, which is to go to Australia with us, although might post it even though I'm a light packer so should have lots of room....and give me an excuse to fill the space on way back!

Had a phone call this afternoon from Insurance company who do our house insurance......€1100 was first offer, which has been reduced to €980...€400 increase on last year, all because we claimed for a hearing aid that OH lost in garden...have had a quick look around others and they wont quote unless there is a 3year no claim record....talk about having you every way....what about all the money they got in the years we didn't claim....grrr.

Have been buying Pink Lady apples for ages and was amazed when I found some where the pips had sprouted....have four which I must move into pots to-morrow, will be interesting to see how they turn out....if I live for the 20 years it will take!

Hugs to all, stay safe and sleep well

Hi Marie (and hello to everyone who might remember me!)

Please don't give up hope on Kerry - there is no end to the miracles and unexpected twists and turns that can come about. Look at the case of this very clever dog...it happens to the best of them...

The more people who know about her, then the sooner she will be back with you. The poster will be an excellent way of reminding people to keep their eyes open, and also be somewhere for people to go back to to get your contact details when she is located.

Hope all is OK with everyone else. As for me...still fat, still single, still "between jobs" (though have had a series of temporary contracts, there just seems to be no company in the land which wants to give me a permanent job); still living in a chaotic household with regard to housework even though it's just me and two kitties living here, lol. I will never be a good housewife. I'm a good old styler though, and do as much as I can to stretch the budget. The one good thing about having little cash is that you learn to take good care of the money you do have and also take the best care of your belongings etc as they won't be replaced any time soon.

    Cheerio all!
