Do I keep phone at contract end?

Hello, at the end of my 2 year pay monthly contract with O2 in October is the iPhone 4 then mine to keep? Will they offer me a new phone so I can give the current phone to someone else?

Phone is yours to keep when the contract is ended. They will probably ask you if you want to renew your contract and offer you another phone. You can either accept and do whatever you please with the old phone or if you would like to save some money you could ask to move onto a SIM only tariff and keep your old phone.

Phone is yours from the very start, although they may ask to return it if you want to terminate the contract early for some reason.

Thanks. So if I stay on contract with them which new phone will they offer me?

You don't have to stay and they don't have to offer anything to you. By default you stay with the old phone and the old contract goes on with 30 day notice to cancel and no minimum term.

Your contract doesn't 'end' after 24m. It simply reaches the end of it's minimum term and then continues until you give 30 days notice.
The handset was yours from day one to do whatever you want with.
